Romo skated on these from the shop up to Sublette Park's tennis courts and then some laps up there. They did not take rocks or cracks nearly as well as her Krypto Routes or Radar Energy wheels. But yes, they were fast. If you know you are going to be skating on a FLAT, CLEAN, SMOOTH surface FREE OF DEBRIS, then these wheels will be great! But think about just how much speed you really want or need outdoors, especially if you are a newer skater. If you are doing time trials outdoors, etc., then these would be great. If you are trail skating where acorns are likely in your path, the Romo says stick with something like the Atom Pulse, or maybe slimmer (less wheel means less likely to hit acorns) like Radar Energy.
